Mairi Miller

Mairi is well versed in the nuances of developing organizational strategy. She has Marketing, Sales and Business Management experience working for small device manufacturing companies including those working in cancer therapy and environmental industries.

She managed national and international marketing activities, training of national and international teams, relationship management, branding as well as service development. More recently, Mairi brought her expertise to OCRI’s Entrepreneurship Centre where she provided training, support and advice to small businesses owners from a wide range of industries who wanted to start or grow their companies. Mairi was responsible for Community Relations and reached out to the Ottawa small business community at large. This included managing the youth entrepreneurship programme, going into schools and universities offering mentoring support and workshops directly to young people; training, advice and support to the school boards in terms of curriculum and programme development.

As an IFC Associate, Mairi brings her business experience and knowledge to the not-for-profit sector, advising organisations on their own strategic development and vision to improve people’s lives and our communities.
