Healthwatch England
Healthwatch England is an independent statutory which helps the public have their say about health and social care, and makes sure NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to that feedback and improve standards of care.
Healthwatch England supports the work of over 150 local Healthwatch's who focus on the issues which matter to local communities. These local organisations are all independent and vary significantly in size.
What we did for them
We helped Healthwatch England develop a template Case for Support, which would help local Healthwatch to approach funders for support. In particular, the case was aimed at the new Integrated Care Systems in each region, which are bringing together health and social care providers into one body.
We then delivered bespoke training to local Healthwatch representatives on finding funders, writing proposals and developing fundraising strategies.
