Three Must Dos At This Year’s Fundraising Convention

With only a couple of weeks to go until next month’s Fundraising Convention, here are three things you MUST DO whilst you’re there…

  1. Don’t miss IFC CEO, Bill King’s session: In it for the long term. Finding donors is hard; keeping them is even harder, but the benefits of a pool of committed major donors who will give year after year are not hard to understand.

This session will follow-on from Bill’s previous panel sessions, which have looked at      building the relationship with major donors and asking them for money. The final piece of the jigsaw will be addressed in this session: how to keep them onside so that they give again and again.

The session will take place at 12:00-13:00 on Monday 2nd July 2018.

  1. Make sure you speak to one of the fantastic Convention volunteers. They’ll be happy to help you. And whilst you’re chatting, make sure you admire the volunteer t-shirts, as sponsored by IFC!
  2. Check out the Fundraising Convention website to keep up to date with all the latest Convention news, particularly the Partner page, where you can find out more about the great fundraising consultancy service that IFC could offer you and your organisation.

Fundraising Convention is the largest event for professional fundraisers in Europe. Taking place over three days in July, the event brings together a mix of experience from the charity sector, and engages attendees through multiple sessions per day, within broad themes.

Fundraising Convention will take place from 2-4 July 2018 at The Barbican, London. For more information, visit:
