Sarah’s focus is on helping small to medium sized charities make their development ideas and projects become a reality through creative, well planned, high quality fundraising work. She has worked with a range of charities as a consultant to secure funding for both extensive redevelopment building work and smaller refurbishment or project based work. Her particular areas of expertise are corporate development and drafting high quality, compelling applications for trusts and foundations.
Her experience includes a period of time as Head of Marketing at the V&A Museum where she was involved in delivering strong visual marketing campaigns and developing partnerships with both the creative industries and the corporate world. She has also led the Fundraising and Marketing teams of the New South Wales Division of the Australian Red Cross and was responsible for the development of the embryonic regular giving street campaign and the launch of new acquisition channels for the annual Red Cross Calling campaign. She spent 10 years of her career working in the City of London in a variety of Marketing and Public Affairs roles which means that all of her work is underpinned with good grounding in commercial and corporate practice.
