Once Upon a Time…It’s All in the Story Telling
We know what we do, but how do we tell everyone else without confusing them, boring them or totally misguiding them?
At our next First Friday Fundraisers session in Amsterdam on 05 June, expert story teller Theo Hendrick will be will be sharing his expertise on how to tell a story. This promises to be an inspirational workshop aimed at demonstrating the added value of the use of good story telling.
Author of ‘No Story No Glory‘, Hendrick believes in telling stories to stimulate, innovate and accelerate a change – isn’t that what we’re all about?
During the session, Hendrick will take participants through a masterclass in what to say and what not to say to really get across how brilliant you and your organisation are.
Theo Hendriks is storyteller partner at Bex*communicatie, based in Eindhoven and Amsterdam. He has trained board members and management teams from companies such as KPN, EY, DSM, Accenture, Philips, Rabobank International and VNG Norge, in telling compelling stories. Hendrick is also a published author in the Netherlands, having co-authored Corporate Stories (Kluwer, 2007) and written both No Story No Glory (A.W. Bruna, 2012), and Change the Script (A.W. Bruna, 2014).
The session will take place at The Jam Workspace on 05 June from 1400 – 1600. There will be an opportunity to network afterwards (with some drinks) and if you bring a friend or colleague or recommend it to someone else who comes, you get in at half price.
Fees are € 10 per person payable before the event.
