Major Donor fundraising is the fastest growing area of new income for charities. If you’d like to find out more then come along to our next free First Friday fundraising advice clinic on Friday 6 October from 13:30-16:30 in Central London.
October’s workshop aims to provide an overview of major donor fundraising and simple steps for starting or improving your major donor fundraising programme. Led by IFC Group CEO, Bill King, It will focus on:
- How to build relationships with wealthy individuals.
- The role trustees and other champions.
- Implementing simple steps to begin or improve major donor strategy.
The IFC set up First Friday fundraising sessions to create a free space for non-profit organisations to gain knowledge and advice on a range of fundraising topics.
These workshops are a great opportunity for you to meet face to face with a fundraising expert and get their support with a particular issue or challenge you may be facing.
The workshops are led by IFC CEO, Bill King, who has nearly 20 years fundraising experience, for a wide range of organisations and covering most areas, including community, event, trust, corporate, membership development and major gift fundraising. He is a respected trainer and exceptional mentor and has secured major grants from statutory funders, trusts and foundations, businesses and individuals.
Bill has had particular success with major appeals, directly managing a successful £30 million plus capital project at Chetham’s School of Music, working as Charitable Trust Fundraiser for Manchester Children’s Hospital Appeal, and advising a number of organisations on setting up and running big appeals, including Alton College, Royal Free Hospital, National Army Museum and the Neuro Therapy Centre.
