IFC CEO, John Baguley will be leading the next First Friday fundraising advice session in London on 4 November 2016. The workshop will look at fundraising strategy and will use the history of three charities to illustrate the steps they took to get off the ground, to take on staff and grow. The session will include:
- Writing your charity’s fundraising strategy.
- How to implement this strategy.
- Ten top tips for a successful fundraising strategy.
There will also be the opportunity to ask lots of questions.
John is the CEO of Group IFC, which includes the various country IFCs, assisting the country directors to deliver the best possible service to their clients. In his 35 years as fundraiser, director and consultant, John has taken charities of all sizes to new heights – and earned an international reputation for excellence in the process.
John offers a unique combination of practical and theoretical experience in the voluntary and private sectors. He has specialised in fundraising and the international development of non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Specialisms include strategy, management, capital appeals, major donor development, digital and international fundraising.
