What we did for them

IFC was contacted by World Animal Protection to carry out an evaluation of their international fundraising, focusing on income from Major Donors and Institutional Funders in Europe. It looked in detail at the various markets open the organisation, especially in the UK, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, where it had offices. We identified potential funders, gave recommendations for priority areas and the most effective strategies, and gave an assessment of potential returns, given various levels of investment.

“IFC was chosen as the ‘consultant of choice’ for an initiative to identify the potential income that could be secured from major donors and institutional funders in Europe and recommend the changes required to achieve it. After just a few interviews with key staff, the IFC team correctly assessed the organisation’s key opportunities and challenges and seemed to understand World Animal Protection ‘from the inside’.
Their report back to World Animal Protection was very thorough as was the methodology used to produce it, all of which gave credibility to their recommendations. IFC’s senior leadership was very much involved and on hand at a moment’s notice to answer our questions and provide additional context. The IFC team were consummate professionals, and I would certainly ‘rehire’ them for this or a similar project – the ultimate test.”
