The glittering ceremony, which took place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London on 7 October 2015, brought together the great and the good to celebrate and recognise the expertise and amazing work that goes into making the UK charity sector the success that it is.
IFC CEO, John Baguley said: “We are absolutely delighted to be awarded Consultancy of the Year by the Charity Times Awards. Fundraising consultancies can bring a wealth of expertise and support to charities, but they often do this without shouting about it. It’s an honour to be recognised for the work we do.”
Categories included Charity of the Year, Best New Charity, Fundraising Team of the Year and Community Award.
The Best Consultancy of the Year category is awarded to a consultancy firm demonstrating a real commitment to the sector and sector organisations in its work, showing a real worth in sharing its expertise during 2014-15. This category is to help promote the work that consulting companies undertake for charities and highlight the value and benefits that they bring to the sector. With PWC also up for this award, competition in this category was fierce.
Now in its sixteenth year, the Charity Times Awards continue to be the pre-eminent celebration of best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. The awards are about:
- Honouring the outstanding professionals in the many and varied fields of charity management
- Supporting continuing professional development and contribute towards raising the standards of charity management
- Promoting and raising the profile of the charity sector
- Providing recognition for those who are providing effective support to the sector
