Is your charity one of the many small charities that don’t like to consider major donor fundraising, believing it too complicated and time consuming? Does the thought of major donor fundraising make you question whether is it really worth it? Would you even know where to start? With society becoming increasingly unequal, and as the numbers of very rich people increase, year on year, major donor fundraising is becoming increasingly important.
With that in mind, the next IFC First Fundraising session in London could be just for you! February’s free session will be focusing on major donor fundraising for small charities and will take place on Friday 5th February, 2pm-5pm at Just Giving, Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London, SE1 0TA.
Led by IFC UK director, Bill King, the session will focus on:
- How to target individual donations
- Considering the role trustees and other champions have to play
- Implementing simple steps to begin or improve major donor strategy
This workshop is open to anyone who works for a non-profit organisation and is interested in fundraising. You do not need to be a member of the Small Charities Coalition in order to attend.
This workshop is free, however to ensure attendance we have had to introduce a £20 booking deposit. This will be returned to you after you have attended the event.
