August’s First Friday: London

lightbulbOur free First Friday Fundraising advice sessions are called First Fridays for a reason…they take place on the first Friday of every month. Unless of course it’s the summer holidays and there’s sun, sea and sand to be had first. As such, August’s First Friday will take place on:

Friday 12 August
13:30-16:30
at the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG.

The session will focus on how small charities can innovate; demonstrating that it’s not just for the bigger organisations.

This workshop will cover:

  • What innovation is
  • The myths surrounding innovation
  • How your small charity can become more innovative
  • Five recent innovations that offer potential for fundraisers

Leading the session will be Craig Linton, who has over 15 years fundraising experience. He is a strong advocate of relationship fundraising and he is co-author of Donors for Life: A practioner’s guide to relationship fundraising, which will be published by White Lion Press in the autumn.

He blogs as the Fundraising Detective, is a trustee, and is a member of the IoF Convention Board and Rogare advisory panel. Although speaking in a personal capacity, his day job is regional fundraising manager (Europe) at Amnesty International. In this role he works closely with fundraisers across Europe on their individual giving.

These free sessions are extremely popular, so book now to avoid disappointment.
